John and Samantha have had a fun time naming the creatures they see outside while playing or watering the garden. We have a friend named Gus (a bird), Becky (a bunny), and while the Erickson's were here, we told them about our chipmunk friend. I said to Samantha that we hadn't named the chipmunk yet, and Nicholas piped in and told us to name him Gary. So, that is his name. Gary, the chipmunk. I have tried really hard to get video of Gary carrying grass across our back patio into his hole that he has dug, but he seems to know I have the video camera out, just like Samantha does! At least I got this good shot of him.
