We went outside this morning and finally made a snowman with Samantha. We have never really had good snow clothes for her, so I haven't ever wanted to take her out there, but today we thought we'd give it a shot. So, we spent 20 minutes getting all layered and bundled up, and went outside. We first made our very pathetic snowman, but the snow was kind of crumbly, so it was really hard to actually form a ball. But, I think he turned out fairly cute. We then added the snowman kit that Samantha's Aunt Julia and her family gave to us quite a few years ago (sorry, Julia, but this is the first time we've used it.) Samantha then spent the next hour or more outside, watching her dad and me shovel all the snow off our driveway and sidewalks - well, not ALL the snow. It took John so long to do just 1/2 the driveway, we had to all come inside a take a lunch break - but, a good friend from the ward drove by with his snowblower and decided to finish it for us right as I am writing this. That was nice of him!
Enjoy these pictures from this morning - we had a good time out there and surprisingly, Samantha enjoyed being out there in the cold and rolling around in the snow with dad, and laughing at him every time he fell down!
