Happy, Happy Birthday, Samantha!

Dear Samantha,

We cannot believe that it's been 5 years since you joined our family. We are so amazed at everything you have grown to do and learn over the last 5 years; we never knew how happy we would be with you as our precious little daughter. You are the light of our lives and our lives revolve around you; we wouldn't want it any other way. We cannot wait to see you in the role of big sister in a few weeks; you are going to be a great help to us, as you already are. You love to help me cook, help me clean, and want to always be right near me. I am going to need that help when your brother arrives :) Thank you for being such a beautiful, smart, sweet, funny, loving, and overall remarkable little girl - we are so proud of you! You are definitely the spark in your daddy's eye; you are two peas in a pod. You love to watch movies, play video games, play card and board games, "wrastle," and build Lego with your dad and he loves every minute of it. I love watching your excitement as you get off the bus every day to tell me what you did and what you learned at school. My favorite day, though, had to be when you got off the bus and the first thing you asked was if we could clean the fridge and the stove. Of course, that is what we did! You have a love of learning, which is something we hope that you continue to nurture. I love seeing how excited you are in Primary and for all that your teachers are teaching you - we need to be better about that as your parents, but we do want you to know that we know the Church is true and that through keeping the commandments and praying to your Heavenly Father, He will always be near you. We want the best of everything for you in life and know that if you keep the gospel close to your heart, you will be blessed immensely; just as your dad and I have been.

We love you, pumpkin! We love you, Baby Jane! We love you, Samantha!
Love, Mom and Dad
