Samantha had all her shots the day before her birthday, so when she woke up VERY early on the 24th, she was not acting like herself. She was very grumpy and not happy; I was worried the day was going to be ruined. We started to open her presents, thinking that might cheer her up, but she decided to throw up instead. After that, she had a bath and played in the tub for a bit, and then the rest of the day was perfect! She just must have needed to have that little bit of relief from the after-effect of the shots. She received a batcave from my parents and has played with that toy and a lot of its accessories every day ever since. That, and an electric John Deere tractor were the only things she asked for this year. She was thrilled! We spent the entire day at home, but I didn't get many pictures of that day, or of Christmas. We just had a good time as a family, which is all that really matters.
