I took Samantha on a mommy-daughter date to a production of Annie, Jr. It was put on by the intermediate school in our district and it was quite a nice evening. Samantha was completely enthralled by the actors and songs; it was so fun to see her pay such close attention to everything going on. We even got to eat sugar cookies decorated as Annie at intermission. We definitely need to do these one-on-one dates each month, as she deserves the alone time, after all she puts up with Carter and his dependence so much on us right now.
